Bagumbongan Caves,
Subterranean River and Cascade
Adventure
Barangay San Isidro, Santa Cruz, Marinduque, Philippines
Beautiful Rock Formations
The Stalactites and Stalagmites are magnificent, they sparkle once light hits them.
We planned this adventure a couple of times and finally after all the planning, we ended up camping for the night and decided to do the spelunking the next morning, just the three of us (Reymart, Ramil and me).
The others are "unavailable", too bad they couldn't come but the three of us were lucky enough to see the beautiful underground world of Bagumbongan, San Isidro.
Our campfire seems to be overwhelming, back up a little 'pre ^_^
I cropped the picture, the camera caught something unfit for publishing :p
By the way, that's me with the "kalderito" (coined term for "small kaldero")

That's Reymart and Ramil getting ready to set-up the tent
The vertical drop entrance to the cave
Signing in the Barangay's logbook is exciting too, you get to post your name and everyone who visits the place will see. A lot of groups have paid a visit to the Caves, mostly from ABS-CBN and GMA7 |

My Motorbike survived all the skidding |
We survived the skidding. We survived San Isidro! ^_^/
IMPORTANT:
*The added pictures inside the caves were taken from a friend's album.
*Do not Litter! Leave nothing but footprints!
Thank you to Kapitan and especially to tita Virgie.
